writing sample

Me and 6 of my friends are on a school break/holidays.We all decided we should go on a road trip. The first thing for me to do was to pack. Then was to convince my strict parents but surprisingly they said yes.So in no time we were off.

The people coming on the road trip is me,brooke, elenoa we are 19 then kadince, maddison, tegan who are 18 and then hannah who is 17.We are using elena's car.We are just driving in the hot weather but that soon changes. In no time it was pitch black and freezing,The only lights were the headlights off the car.

It was about 9:30 ish and we saw a tall, slim looking figure in the distance. When we got closer to it we saw them with their thumb up with a sign saying heading north, and kadince said were heading north “they can come with us” At that point I was scared “a random in the car with us”what if he is a physco? For some weird reason we let the person in.Their face was covered so I couldn't tell whether it was a man or woman. They hopped in the car and sat next to Maddison.I could tell by her face she was absolutely terrified. He laughs and we all look back and see that Maddison and tegan are knocked out.We get him out of th4 car ameditly and we race off without thinking about anything else.

We wanted to turn around but we didn't want to take any chances,We took about 1 and a half hours to get to the overnight hospital.Madison and tegan weird pretty bad condition but they wer ok in the morning .We ended up going back home ,we didn't want anything else to happen to us.

As we walked back in the door, We told my parents what happened my mum said not to make that mistake again we all agreed.

Teacher Comment: Kiriama - I like the way you have used a range of sentence structures in your writing. You have chosen some descriptive language to paint a picture in the readers mind.
Your next step is to try and set your writing out using paragraphs.
