week 3/4 reflection.

During Maths week (week 4), we have been focussing on Geometry. We had a choice of 10 different Geometry based activities. We needed to select 5 different activities and provide evidence when completed.

What I enjoyed about this maths week was: I enjoyed getting to finish my calendar art. 

What challenged me during this week doing:during writing it challenged me when I had to publish my 60s writing. 

My next step in Geometry is:to not rush what ever i'm doing.

week 3/4 reflection

Something I enjoyed from week 3 and 4: i enjoyed was writing because we started doing reading groups and we would pick what group to be in.

Something that challenged me during week 3 and 4: for me has maths challenged me because i had never tried that strategy before.

A value I have been showing consistently and how:I have shown respect because when i sit on the mat i don't talk unlike some people. 

A value that I think I need to improve on and how:I need to be brave because i just get shy around anyone.

     1.on my graph i put colour on it because it looked really boring
     2.i mad e my graph about the rainfull data
     3.i had to put my graph up to 24 for my data.

It rained more on Friday than the rest of the days. There might have been a storm on Friday. It didn't rain at all on Sunday so it must have been a sunny, clear day. Saturday and Monday are the same, they both have 1mm of rain so it only rained a little bit

I think you should read this book because it is funny it has lots of kinds of  stories some about super hero's, vampires, zombies, pirates, aliens, werewolves and wizards.I think my personal favourite would be the aliens one because it has some funny jokes in it.

Week 1/2 - Reflection

Something that has challenged me this week is… (explain why) reading comprehension because i cant read very fast and math it challenged me more when I done fractions

A school value that I have worked hard at achieving this week is… (add evidence and a brief explanation) A value this week would be respect because I would sit quietly on the mat and not talk while the teacher is.

A school value that I need to work on is… (explain why) being brave because when Mrs McCarthy asked me to do assembly I didn't want to.

This fortnights Tōtara goal was Behaviour Matrix and I achieved/showed this by... not talking on the mat listening to teachers instructions

What is my personal goal for next week? be a bit more ahead of my work.

week 11 reflection

Some work I am proud of… is my geology project that i made with me Brooke and abby (add evidence and a brief explanation)


Here is my Personal Inquiry … we made a mobil witch was brooke's idea and me and abby came up with doing tectonic plates model. (Picture + brief explanation)


Reflecting on my Inquiry, I have … done well with adding lots of imformation and i need to work on adding more colour. (done well, need to improve, something i'm of proud)


Here is my Passion Project …  we just made a poster of us face painting.(Picture + brief explanation)


Reflecting on my Passion Project, I have … liked doing face paint on the kids and i done well with keeping neat.(liked the way, done well, need to improve, something i'm of proud)


Reflecting on my term, I have …  i did well with neatness and colour my next step is to stop shaking .(two backpacks/positive + one next step)

‘Science in Van’ were at school and I learnt...that eg if you stand on one single stone it will heart but if you stand on lots it won't heart as much

Have you ever been felt so petrified of a swing?No probably not, well that was what I was worded about.Trust me it is not a feeling you want to feel           


I was walking up the hill to the giant swing,I was huffing and puffing.I was so petrified because when our instructors Taco and steph told us it was about 17m high I was even more scared. My turn was after brookes and Taco harnessed me on to the swing and bar.I started going up.


The rest of my group had to pull me up with rope.I was looking happy but really wasn't inside.I was worried the they would let go but i slowly got higher and higher until I had to pull the rope.I closed my eyes as tight as I could and all I heard was a click.I felt all the cold raindrops and the wind blowing on me.I was shivering becauseI was socked because of the rain.


At the end steph took off the heavy harness and I unclipped my helmet.I was happy but I wanted another turn
